About the airline Ryanair

The low-cost airline Ryanair was founded in 1984 and began operations a year later. In the early days, the airline employed only 25 staff members. It started flying the route from Waterford (Ireland) to London (United Kingdom), with an aircraft that had only 15 seats. In 1986, Ryanair launched one of its key routes, Dublin to London. The number of passengers began to increase, but the company was still operating at a loss. In the 1990s, the company's management implemented significant changes, making Ryanair a pioneer in low-cost air travel.

To this day, Ryanair prides itself on offering the lowest possible ticket prices, making it one of the leading airlines in Europe in terms of passenger numbers. It ranks among the largest low-cost carriers in the world and employs more than 19,000 professionals. Its home airport is Dublin International Airport, but its largest operating airport is London's Stansted.

Fleet

Ryanair uses Boeing 737 MAX 10, Boeing 737 Next Gen, and Airbus A320 aircraft. The airline has one of the youngest fleets in Europe, with an average aircraft age of under 9 years.
