Bus to Alghero

The cheapest option are the Linea Alfa city buses (timetable). You'll find the stop about 150 metres from the arrivals hall. Buses run roughly every 60 minutes and take you to the centre to the Via Catalogna stop. The journey to the centre takes about 30 minutes. The price for a one-way ticket is €1 if bought from a ticket machine, or €1.50 if bought directly from the driver. The first bus leaves at 5 am, the last at 11 pm.

Airport shuttle to hotel (recommended)

If you don't want to rent a car, consider an airport shuttle. Prices start at EUR 8 and a bus will take you from the airport directly to your hotel (and back at the end of your stay). The price is a bit higher than taking the public transport, but it's worth the comfort.

The most convenient transport is a taxi, which you can use on the spot or book via Gettransfer. This has the advantage of a lower price, better access, and can also provide a child seat. The price of a taxi should be around €20.
