Transportation from Bogota El Doradodo Airport to Bogota city centre
Bogota El Dorado Airport is located approximately 15 km from central Bogota. You have several options for transport to the city centre or to your hotel.

Bus
The cheapest option are the TransMilenio buses - the M86/K86 line that departs from a stop near international arrivals.
Most tourists opt for the K86/M86 express line (you get on K86, but it changes to M86 on the way). These buses run from 4:30am to 10:45pm (6am to 10:45pm on Saturdays, and 6am to 9:45pm on Sundays and public holidays), on average every 10 minutes. The city centre (San Diego and Museo Nacional stops) can be reached in 45 minutes. At the airport, you must purchase a Tullave card (the card costs approx. EUR 1) which you can then top up with any amount. A one-way trip from the airport to the city costs EUR 0.6.
Alternatively, the 16-14 Feeder Route bus line connects both terminals to the Portal Eldorado bus station. This transport is free of charge.

You can also take minibuses from the airport which stop near the bus stops. Their destination is listed on the windscreen and the price is around COP 1.800 (EUR 0.4) per trip. Payment is in cash, you do not need a Tullave card.
