Transportation from the airport to the center of Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur Airport is approximately 45 km away from the city centre. You have several options for transport to the city centre or to your hotel.

ERL Train
The fastest and most convenient way to get to the city centre from both terminals is the ERL express train service, with a choice of KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit trains. Both will take you to Kuala Lumpur Sentral train station, but the KLIA Ekspres goes direct, while the KLIA Transit stops at Salak Tinggi, Putrajaya/Cyberjaya and Bandar Tasik Selatan. The direct service takes about half an hour, while the one with stops takes about 40 minutes.
Trains run at roughly 15-minute intervals between 5 am and 1 am. A one-way ticket for adults costs EUR 12, children aged 2 to 12 pay EUR 5. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket machine at the airport, the website, or the app.

Bus
Buses are the cheapest way of transport. The journey takes about an hour and tickets cost around EUR 2.4. You can easily find the buses and buy tickets on the EasyBook website.

Taxi
Another option is to choose transport via Gettransfer. You book the driver yourself, you know the price in advance and if you accidentally forget something in the car, you can easily contact the driver again. In this case, rates start at €37.
