Buses to Nicosia
The bus runs about once an hour. It is a direct service with no stops and so the journey takes only 40 minutes. The bus stop in Nicosia can be found at the corner of Lemesou Avenue and Kyrenias Avenue, near Strovolos and 2.5 km south of the centre. Here you can change to bus 158 or 160 towards the city centre (Solomos Square, Central Bus Station).
Car rental in Cyprus
More flexible transport can be provided by car rental. This option is recommended if you want to travel around the island. Prices are very dependent on the season, during the winter they start at EUR 81 / week, during the summer you can pay several times more. In general, the earlier you book your car, the more you save.

Airport shuttle to hotel (recommended)
If you don't want to rent a car, consider an airport shuttle. Prices start at EUR 8 and a bus will take you from the airport directly to your hotel (and back at the end of your stay). The price is a bit higher than taking public transportation, but it's much more convenient.

Taxi
The most convenient way is to use the Gettransfer. You know the price of the ride in advance and you can have a child seat provided, for example. Prices start at €9. Drivers are often nicer and more helpful than in regular taxis. If you forget something in the car, it is no problem to track down and contact the driver.
Prices for regular taxis are fixed, so you can easily compare the price on the spot with the price obtained via Gettransfer.
