Transport from Tallinn Airport to Tallinn city centre
Tallinn Lennart Meri Airport is located approximately 4 km from central Tallinn. You have several options for transport to the city centre or to your hotel.

Tram
Since 2017, tram line number 4 (Lennujaam-Tondi) has been running to the airport. On weekdays, the first service departs from the city to the airport at 5:30 am and the last one will take you from the airport at 0:45 am. On weekends, the times vary by just a few minutes. Timetables can be viewed under this link, the tram stop at the airport is called Lennujaam.
If you're heading downtown, get off after about 20 minutes at the Viru stop. A short walk through the famous Viru Gate will take you to Tallinn's Old Town.

You can also use bus line number 2, which departs from the Lennujaam bus stop. If you want to go to the centre, get off at the A. Laikmaa stop. Buses run at approximately 20 minute intervals and the journey time is approximately 15 minutes.

You can use the bus especially if you want to continue on from Tallinn by ferry as the bus ends its journey at the port.

The price of a single ticket is EUR 2 and you can buy them from the driver or from a ticket machine. You can also buy an e-ticket for €1.5 at this link. Tickets are valid for 60 minutes.
If you plan to use public transport in Tallinn, consider the Smartcard (Ühiskaart). You can buy this card online or at a kiosk for €2 and top up your credit. Fares will then drop significantly, with a single ticket costing EUR 1.1, a 1-day ticket EUR 4.5, a 3-day ticket EUR 7.5, and a 5-day ticket EUR 9.
