STUDENT AGENCY was founded in 1996. Today, it focuses on a wide portfolio of services, including bus and train transport under the marketing brand RegioJet.

RegioJet company, which operates train transport, was established in 2009. The brand is used for domestic and international bus transport since 2016. Today, it is one of the most successful private train and bus carriers.

RegioJet operates hundreds of buses and more than 200 modern trains. The company's buses and trains can be reliably identified by their yellow colour.

Regiojet operates domestic bus and train lines within the Czech Republic. It also operates international lines connecting Prague with popular destinations (London, Paris, Budapest, Vienna, Berlin, Rome). For a list of all destinations in offer, see the interactive map on the website. In 2020, the company started offering a direct train connection between Prague and Rijeka.

There is no need to print your tickets, you just need to show your QR code or ticket number.

Cheapest Tickets

RegioJet organizes various discount events throughout the year, during which you can get bus tickets at really interesting prices. There are often discounted 1+1 tickets, even for international connections, or Valentine's Day events. To make sure you don't miss any of these promotions, keep an eye on the carrier's website and mobile app.

Timetables of the connections can be found on internet pages. Just enter your starting station and you will see a list of all available lines. You can also easily search for individual connections via the mobile app.

You can view the special offers directly on the RegioJet website, specifically under the Offers tab. To make sure you don't miss out on any of the exciting offers, we recommend keeping an eye on the website and mobile app. RegioJet has promotions for Valentine's Day, Black Friday and occasionally there are 1+1 ticket sales for european routes.

RegioJet offers discounted fares for students who have a valid ISIC card.

You can reserve seats for free when buying tickets. Seat reservations are available for both train and bus connections.

The national connections connect Prague and the following cities:

• By train: Brno, Havířov
• By bus: Liberec, Písek, Karlovy Vary, Pardubice, Brno, Znojmo,...

With foreign connections you can go from Prague to the following countries:

• By train: Austria, Croatia, Slovakia, Hungary,...
• By bus: Slovakia, Austria, Croatia, France, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, Hungary,...

If your train or bus has been delayed, you can easily calculate your compensation entitlement using a clear table at the RegioJet online kiosks. When travelling by bus, if the delay is reported in advance, no compensation is due. In the case of train services, compensation is payable even if the delay is announced in advance.

With international bus transport passengers may carry one piece of hand luggage with dimensions 15 x 25 x 35 cm (5,9 x 9,8 x 13,8 inches) and one piece of luggage in the luggage compartment with dimensions 30 x 60 x 80 cm (11,8 x 23,6 x 31,5 inches) and weight 30 kg (6,2 pounds) free of charge. Within the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany, 2 pieces of hand luggage and 2 pieces of luggage in the luggage compartment are allowed. For information on excess baggage, please see here.

In case of train transport, limits on baggage are not specified. Passengers may carry any luggage that can be easily loaded onto the train. Detailed information can be found here.

While travelling on RegioJet buses, each passenger has a power socket, a built-in LCD screen with entertainment system and a USB connector. All buses have free WiFi and a toilet. During your journey, you can borrow newspapers, magazines and headphones.

The service provided on RegioJet trains varies depending on which travel class you choose. You can choose from Business, Relax, Standard or Low Cost classes. All trains are equipped with free WiFi, restroom facilities and power outlets. You have the option to borrow daily newspapers or magazines during your journey.

When travelling by bus, passengers can use the self-service to prepare free hot drinks - cappuccino, coffee and chocolate.

When travelling by train, all passengers will receive a free small bottle of water for free. The range of food and drinks available for purchase varies depending on which travel class your ticket is purchased in. You can view the full menu at this link.

With RegioJet, you can take a direct train to Croatia. If your destination is Rijeka, the ticket price starts from CZK 590 (EUR 25 / GBP 21 / USD 27). If you want to travel to Split, the ticket price starts at CZK 890 (EUR 37 / GBP 32 / USD 41). RegioJet offers transport to up to 56 holiday destinations within Croatia. From Rijeka, the company operates regular buses that will take you as far as Dubrovnik. You can travel in sleeper compartments, or in a seat in an open carrier Astra, or in a 6-passenger compartment.

You can arrange a free credit ticket called Credit Card with RegioJet via this link. After simple registration and topping up your credit, you can travel at discounted prices. The credit ticket is valid for both bus and train services. You can book your tickets via the website or mobile app. You can learn more detailed information at this link.

If your plans change unexpectedly and you need to cancel or change your train or bus ticket, you can do so up to 15 minutes before departure. Changing or cancelling your ticket is free of charge if you have purchased the ticket online or as a credit ticket. If you have purchased the ticket at one of the points of sale, there is a 10% cancellation fee.

Tickets can be cancelled or changed using the mobile app or by logging in (using the ticket number) on the RegioJet website.
