About Aviasales.ru
A flight, accommodation and car rental search finder is the Russian company Aviasales, which was founded in 2007. Its website is visited by approximately 15 million users per month. Aviasales has two other offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The website Aviasales.ru is not available in English. Therefore, for Russian translation it is a good idea to use the translation of the whole page directly in Google Translate.
The Aviasales company does not sell tickets, the service searches for the best flight options (it compares 100 agencies and 728 airlines). You can buy tickets to more than 220 countries directly from airlines or agencies, which Aviasales redirects you to from its website. It also guarantees that the amount paid will be the same, without any hidden fees, as the amount displayed in the Aviasales search finder.
How to find the cheapest airline tickets via Aviasales.ru?
Aviasales offers several options to find the cheapest airline tickets:
Aviasales displays a cheapest flight tickets map for its users who have a fixed travel date but have not yet selected a destination. The map shows the whole world and the prices of flights to each destination on a given date. Aviasales also allows you to enter the departure and arrival location and displays the given month with the ticket prices for each day separately.
On its website, the company collects special airfare offers around the world, as well as information on current airline promotions and discounts. The number of tickets with the listed fares and the duration of the promotions are often limited. Aviasales recommends to start searching on its website 2 - 3 months before your scheduled departure to get the best price.
Aviasales also offers the possibility to add their robot to Telegram, Facebook or Viber, which monitors the prices according to the instructions (when, where, with what discount) and contacts the user when the prices drop noticeably. Aviasales also offers the possibility to monitor the price of the selected ticket. After logging in and selecting the "Follow Price" button, you will receive emails when the price of a ticket drops.

Reviews, Experiences and Ratings of Aviasales.ru
Aviasales does not enjoy great popularity in the field of reviews on the Internet. First of all, it should be said that most of the reviews are in Russian, so you need to use a translator.
Many Aviasales users complain about problems with refunds for cancelled flights or non-delivery of tickets. However, Aviasales is only a ticket comparison site and does not sell tickets, so refunds are the responsibility of agencies and airlines. Aviasales only offers its assistance in resolving ticket problems, however, according to reviews, it is often unsuccessful. The main problem seems to be the portfolio of agencies and airlines that Aviasales works with. They seem to be untrustworthy in many cases and the customer puts the main blame on Aviasales as an intermadiary. The reviews can be found on Trustpilot.com here.
On Facebook, Aviasales has Reviews with a score of 3 out of 5, and it's both positive and negative reactions. Satisfied customers praise the clarity and simplicity of the Aviasales website and the ability to find cheap airfare, and there are those who have used the search engine for many years and have not experienced any problems. Dissatisfied customers have had problems with cancelled flights, refunds, ticket delivery, and also complain about the company's offensive advertising campaign.
We therefore definitely recommend that when searching for tickets via Aviasales, you should look at the reviews of the selected airline and find out how it communicates with its own customers, what its cancellation policy is, what its baggage policy is, etc. Aviasales does not provide all of this information on its website.
