Opodo is an online travel agency where you can book worldwide flights, accommodation or travel packages (flight + hotel) at very good prices. Among other things, they can help you with car rental or airport transfer bookings. On its website, it guarantees the lowest airfares and makes up any difference in price. Click on the Activities tab to get an overview of interesting activities in the area you are looking for. You can book a variety of tours, tastings or even boat trips. The company has been operating since 2001 and it's base is in London.

You can use the search box to find the cheapest airline tickets. Simply enter the departure point and destination on the desired date. If you don't know where you are flying to yet, you can choose the "Anywhere" option. You can then sort the available flights from cheapest. You can also set up price alerts for different routes on the site. If the price of flights on your chosen route drops, Opodo will notify you by email.

We recommend subscribing to the newsletter so you don't miss out on any great deals. If you find cheaper tickets (from another retailer) within 24 hours of your booking, Opodo will make up the price difference. On its website, it guarantees the lowest prices.

You can buy the tickets via the company's website or via the Opodo app. Simply enter where you want to fly from, the date and your destination in the search box. You'll see a menu of available flights, which you can sort by different criteria (e.g. from cheapest). You can also set a bell for your chosen route. Opodo will alert you as soon as ticket prices on that route drop. Next, you just need to select the flight that is most suitable for you. Opodo will also offer you accommodation at discounted prices when you book your flights. If you want the flights only, click on "continue without hotel". You just need to fill in your personal details, select your seats on the plane, add your luggage to your booking and pay for your tickets.

The company also offers membership in its Opodo Prime programme, which offers discounts on flights and accommodation and 24/7 customer service. Membership is charged at an annual fee of EUR 70 (GBP 60 or USD 82) and you can sign up at this link.

Opodo offers a relatively flexible cancellation option on selected airlines. Before selecting a specific flight, you will see a note until when free cancellations can be made. If you cancel within this time limit, Opodo will refund the full amount to your account. To cancel a flight, you must contact the customer service centre.

If you wish to cancel your flight outside of the specified time, you can do so through the booking management. Whether tickets are refundable depends on the specific fare and airline. With low-cost airlines, you usually won't get a refund for the cancelled flight and the tickets will be forfeited. If the tickets are refundable, Opodo will contact the airline for you. However, they warn on the website that this process can take several months.
