About Jadrolinija
The Croatian company Jadrolinija is the largest passenger ship carrier in the country. It was founded in 1947 in Rijeka and introduced ferry services in the early 1960s. The first ferry (Bodulka) entered service in 1963. Most of the ships were replaced by new means of transport and international lines were established. Jadrolinija carries over 11 million passengers and operates 2.8 million vehicles annually.
It offers connections between islands along the Croatian coast as well as international lines to Montenegro and Italy, with the most frequent connections being Ancona-Split and Bari-Dubrovnik.
The fleet of Jadrolinija consists of 53 vessels (36 local ferries, 3 international, 10 catamarans, 4 classic passenger ships).
