About Scandlines
Scandlines is a Baltic ship carrier founded in 1903. It operates 3 large-capacity ferry lines in the Baltic Sea between Denmark, Germany and Sweden.
The company initially operated as a link between Germany and Denmark, at that time the service was provided by steamships. Over time, new ferries were upgraded and purchased, and the scope of operations was expanded.
Since 2013, the company has been striving for an environmentally friendly and emission-free mode of transport. Scandlines use hybrid ferries with reduced emissions. In 2020, the company took another step towards a greener way of transporting - ferries with a new type of nozzles that emit even fewer emissions.

It pays to buy tickets well in advance. Tickets bought at the last minute are much more expensive and may already be sold out.
Service on board Scandlines
Scandlines offer a large selection of different restaurants and shops on board.
The company does not provide accommodation on the ship. You can shorten your time by visiting one of the restaurants, buying various goods, and there is free WiFi.
