Bolt was founded in 2013 in Tallinn, Estonia, with the idea of bringing local taxis into one group. The company soon expanded abroad and it is now operating in 30 countries and over 100 cities in Europe, West Asia, Africa or Australia.
Taxi service Bolt currently transports passengers with its taxis, lends out electric scooters and bikes and also delivers food from popular restaurants. Bolt owns cars such as the Skoda Fabia II, Skoda Octavia II and III, Skoda Superb II and III, Peugeot 307, Ford Focus II and Skoda Rapid 2019.

Booking a ride
You can conveniently book a Bolt taxi ride using the Bolt app, which you can download to your mobile here.
In the app, you set your destination, choose a car and confirm the ride. Don't forget to choose the correct payment method. Once you have confirmed, you can wait for your car. The app will also tell you the estimated time of arrival. You can share it with friends or family. If you want to stop somewhere along the way, then click on the "+" icon to add a stop and if you want to delete it, then click on the "x". If you have any problems with your booking, don't be afraid to contact customer support.
You can even travel with your pets in Bolt taxis, but always check the company's website to make sure this service is also offered in your city, or inform your driver in advance.

The price of the Bolt transport service is as cheap as 36 cents per 1 km travelled, and 14 cents per minute of travel.
