About Eurostar

The international rail carrier Eurostar began operating in 1994. Back then, it provided a new way for people to travel between the UK and mainland Europe - under the English Channel, in the Channel Tunnel. The carrier's trains run at speeds of more than 300 kilometers per hour (186 MPH). It only takes 2 hours and 16 minutes to get from London to Paris.

In 2019, the company carried a total of 11.1 million passengers. It currently operates a fast Class 373 fleet of 11 trainsets and an even faster Class 374 fleet of 17 trainsets. Its destinations connect to more than 100 other destinations in Europe.

Tickets with Eurostar

Tickets can be purchased online at the company's website or the app. To board the train, have your printed ticket or the barcode on your electronic ticket ready. You can also use the Eurostar app for this. The carrier currently carries passengers from London, Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam. A journey from London to Paris will cost you around GBP 75 / USD 100 / EUR 88 when booking a week before your journey. You can also buy tickets via our cheap ticket finder.

Cheapest Tickets

When looking for the best value tickets, check how busy the services are at the time you're traveling. On less busy days, certain connections may be cheaper. Also, try to check for current deals.

If you plan to travel in a group of more than 10 people, you'll get a 10% discount when you register at least 72 hours before departure. You cannot change your group ticket after booking, a partial refund is possible.
