Aegean Airlines is a Greek airline based in Athens, founded in 1999. It is the largest Greek airline with a very high rating. Aegean was awarded the 2018 Skytrax World Airline award for Best European Regional Airline. In 2013, Aegean Airlines established a partnership with Olympic Air, which allowed the airline to increase its flight frequency and better access to the Greek islands.
Aegean Airlines has one of the youngest fleets. It uses the following aircraft types for its flights:

The price of a basic Economy Light fare always includes 1 carry-on bag, which must not exceed any of the specified limits - maximum dimensions are 56 x 45 x 25 cm / 22 x 18 x 10 in (or 55 x 40 x 23 cm / 22 x 7 x 4 in for flights in cooperation with Olympic Air) and weight up to 8 kg (17,6 lb). In addition, you can take one small personal bag (small handbag, laptop) that fits under the seat.
Flex and Comfort Flex Fare passengers can carry 2 pieces of carry-on luggage with dimensions 56 x 45 x 25 cm / 22 x 18 x 10 in (or 55 x 40 x 23 cm / 22 x 7 x 4 in on flights in cooperation with Olympic Air) and a weight of up to 8 kg (17,6 lb).
Business Class passengers may carry 2 pieces of carry-on luggage with dimensions 56 x 45 x 25 cm (or alternatively 55 x 40 x 23 cm for flights in cooperation with Olympic Air) weighing up to 13 kg (28 lb).

Checked baggage is free of charge for Comfort Flex and Business Class passengers only.
