Air Arabia is a low-cost airline originating from the United Arab Emirates with the home airport Sharjah located near Dubai (many flights operate from the other main airport - Ras Al Khaimah). The airline is relatively young (founded in 2003) and has several subsidiaries: Air Arabia Morocco, Air Arabia Egypt, and Air Arabia Abu Dhabi. This airline connects 170 destinations in Asia, Europe, and Africa. It is part of the Arab Air Carrier Organization alliance.
Air Arabia's fleet consists exclusively of Airbus aircraft, namely the A320 and A321neo. The company owns 57 aircraft, however, many more are already preordered.

To be prepared and not waste time at the airport, check in online from the comfort of your home. In the latter case, the ticket downloaded in your phone in the app will suffice. If you're checking in via the website, print your ticket and bring it with you to the airport. Online check-in is available 24 hours before departure from Sharjah Airport and 12 hours from other airports. It ends one hour prior to departure.

If you are unable to check in on your own, don't despair, airport check-in is for free. Check-in counters open 3 hours before departure and close 45 minutes before departure.

You can bring on board one piece of lugagge for free, with a maximum size of 55 x 40 x 20 cm (21,7 x 15,7 x 7,9 inches) and weight up to 10 kg (22 lb), which is a fairly generous weight limit since it is not seen on many airlines anymore. The same rules apply to children's luggage.
<h3>Carry-on luggage</h3>
As generous as the airline is with carry-on baggage, checked luggage is always for a fee, however, this is common practice with low-cost airlines. If you know you will be traveling with checked luggage, be sure to pay for it when you book your ticket, it will be the most convenient and you will save significantly compared to paying extra at the airport. The maximum dimensions of checked luggage are 156 cm (61,4 inches) in total (width + length + height) and 32 kg (70,5 lb) per piece.

On Air Arabia, you can choose from three fares, depending on the services you require during your flight.
Basic: The cheapest fare, with which you only buy a ticket and carry-on luggage, everything else such as meals, seat selection, and checked luggage is charged.
Value: The Value fare already includes one in-flight meal and one piece of checked 20kg / 44lb luggage. If you need more luggage or want to select a seat, this is, of course, possible for a fee during your booking.
Extra: The highest fare includes a free seat selection in addition to the above.

For frequent travelers, Air Arabia has developed a frequent flyer program called The AirRewards Program. With every ticket purchased, you earn a certain number of virtual points, which are based on the price of the ticket. You can earn up to 10 percent of the ticket price as cashback in points. You can then use these points to either purchase additional tickets or upgrade an existing booking. You can also use the points to buy refreshments or to pay for checked luggage. If you prefer, you can transfer your points earned with Air Arabia to Etihad's frequent flyer program and redeem them in their system.

If you are traveling by Air Arabia, the refreshments you can look forward to depend on your class of travel. If you've chosen a Basic fare, you'll either have to do without food or pay extra. With a Value or Extra fare, you'll already have one free meal on board. If you want to order extra refreshments, it is best to do so when booking your ticket, as this will give you better prices and also a much wider choice.

If you are traveling on the Basic fare, you can't expect any extra services on board, only for a fee. The only thing you can do for free is read the company's magazine.
If you have paid for a Value or Extra fare, you can enjoy in-flight refreshments.
It is also possible to choose your seat for an additional fee, and on some routes you can buy an internet data package.
