<h3>Online check-in</h3>
You can check in online via the mobile app or on the carrier's website. Online check-in is available 48 hours before your departure. Print your boarding pass or save it to your mobile phone.
In case of mobile app check-in, you will receive a notification 22 hours before departure. You do not need to print your boarding pass, just show your confirmation on the app. However, please note that if you do not have mobile data or wifi is not available, the app will not work. You'd better make a screenshot of you boarding pass for that case. <h3>Airport check-in</h3>
If you prefer to check in at the airport, arrive at least two hours before your departure. At some airports, you can use self check-in kiosks.

Atlantic Airways is an international airline serving the Faroe Islands. The company is headquartered in Sørvágur and, in addition to charter flights, it also operates scheduled services to Denmark and neighbouring countries. Other activities include search and rescue operations across the islands. Currently, the airline employs around 200 people. 
Atlantic Airways has one of the newest fleets in Europe. It owns a total of three large passenger and cargo aircraft and two helicopters. Flights are operated on Airbus aircraft, specifically there are Airbus 320-214 and Airbus 320neo. Search operations, transfers between the Faroe Islands and flights off the mainland in the North Atlantic are operated by Leonardo AW 139 helicopters.

<h3>Carry-on baggage</h3>
You can take one piece of hand luggage and a laptop on board that are included in the price of the ticket. The luggage should not exceed 8 kg (17.6 lb) in weight and 55 x 40 x 25 cm (21.7 x 15.7 x 9.8 inches) in dimensions.
<h3>Checked luggage</h3>
You can fly with Atlantic Airways on one of three fares, which affect the allowed maximum weight of your free checked baggage. On the basic LOW fare, one large bag is allowed per adult with a maximum weight of 23 kg (50.7 pounds). On the FLEX and FLEX+ fares, you can check in two pieces of luggage weighing a maximum of 23 kg each.
