Austrian Airlines is one of Austria's largest airlines. The first flight was made in March 1958 from Vienna via Zurich to London and later the company merged with Air Austria and Austrian Airways. The airline is part of the Lufthansa Group. The company has been a member of the Star Alliance since 2000 and focuses primarily on flights in Central and Eastern Europe. Its main base is at Vienna International Airport, with other bases in Innsbruck, Salzburg and Graz.

It is possible to carry one piece of baggage with dimensions up to 55 x 40 x 23 cm (21,7 x 15,7 x 9 inches) free of charge, where the weight must not exceed 8 kg / 17,6 lb (for Business Class, two pieces of hand luggage are allowed), and personal accessories (handbag, laptop, camera,...) up to the size of 40 x 30 x 10 cm (15,7 x 11,8 x 3,9 in).
<h3>Checked luggage </h3>
Luggage is limited to 23 kg (50,7 lb) and dimensions up to 158 cm (62,2 inches) when summing the sides (length, width, height). Checked baggage is included in the price of all fares, except Economy Light. <h3>Other Baggage</h3>
Children under the age of two can have a crib, booster seat or folding stroller weighing up to 10 kg / 22 lb for free.
