Binter Canarias is a Spanish airline based on the island of Gran Canaria. The company was founded in 1989.
The first flight took place from the island of Gran Canaria to the nearby island of Tenerife, where 40 passengers were transported. The airline specialises mainly in transporting passengers between the Canary Islands and also operates scheduled services to many European and non-European destinations.
The Binter Canarias fleet is constantly being modernised. It boasts a low-emission aircraft type ATR 72. It also uses the Embraer E195-E2.

Online check-in can be done from 24 hours before scheduled departure. Once you have filled in the necessary information, you will receive a boarding pass, which you can print or save to your mobile phone.
<h3>Airport check-in</h3>
Free check-in is available at the airport counter. Counters usually open 3 hours before scheduled departure and close approximately 30 minutes before departure for flights within the Canary Islands and 60 minutes for other flights.

<h3>Carry-on baggage</h3>
The price of the ticket always includes 1 piece of hand luggage which must not exceed any of the specified limits - maximum dimensions are 45 x 35 x 25 cm (17,7 x 13,8 x 9,8 inches) and weight up to 6 kg (13,3 lb) for flights operated by ATR aircraft.
On Embraer aircraft 1 piece of hand baggage with dimensions up to 52 x 40 x 25 cm (20,5 x 15,7 x 9,8 inches) and maximum weight 8 kg (17,6 lb) can be carried free of charge.
In both cases, you can take one small additional bag (small handbag or laptop) that fits under the seat.
<h3>Checked baggage</h3>
The company allows the carriage of at least 1 piece of checked baggage free of charge. Maximum weight varies by destination.
