<p>Blue Islands is an airline with bases at two airports, <strong>Guernsey and Jersey</strong>. Both airports are located on the islands of the same name, known as <strong>the Channel Islands</strong>. The airline's official headquarters are located at Jersey Airport. The airline's history dates back to 1999, when it was founded under the name Le Cocq's Airlink. It operated under the Flybe brand for several years, but renamed to its current name in 2020.</p>
<p>The airline's fleet consists of <strong>ATR aircraft</strong>: the 72-500 and the 42-320.</p>

<p>You can also check in for free at the airport counter. Counters usually open <strong>90 minutes</strong> and close <strong>30 minutes</strong> before your scheduled departure.</p>

<h3>Carry-on baggage</h3>
<p>On the basic fare, 1 piece of hand luggage with maximum dimensions <strong>55 x 36 x 20 cm (21.7 x 14.2 x 7.9 in)</strong> can be carried free of charge. Each passenger can also take one extra piece of personal luggage (laptop, small handbag, etc.) that fits under the seat. The maximum weight of hand luggage can be <strong>10 kg (22 lb)</strong>.</p>
<h3>Checked luggage</h3>
<p>Checked baggage with a maximum weight of <strong>23 kg (50.7 lb)</strong> can be carried free of charge on the Blue Fly fare, and checked baggage is not included in the basic fare (you have to pay extra for it).</p>
