<h3>Online check-in</h3>
Online check-in is only available on selected flights from the following destinations - Hong Kong SAR (excluding Saipan), Japan, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan (China), Vietnam and Cambodia. Passengers can check in for free using the <a rel="noopener" href="https://booking.hkexpress.com/en-us/check-in/login" target="_blank">form on the carrier's website</a> or via the mobile app that can be <a rel="noopener" href="https://www.hkexpress.com/en-hk/your-trips/check-in/online-check-in/" target="_blank">downloaded here</a>. The advantage of the mobile app is that you always have your boarding pass with you and there is no need to print it. The service is available no earlier than 48 hours and no later than 75 minutes before scheduled departure.
Online check-in is not available for people travelling with children or groups of more than 9 people.

<h3>Carry-on baggage</h3>
Each passenger can take two pieces of luggage on board the aircraft for the price of the ticket. One of them is standard hand luggage, the weight of which should not exceed 7 kg (15.4 lb) and dimensions 56 x 35 x 23 cm (22 x 13.8 x 9 in). The other piece of hand baggage allowed is a small personal bag that must fit comfortably under the seat in front of you. However, there are limits for this as well, especially the dimensions, which must not exceed 40 x 25 x 20 cm (15.7 x 9.8 x 7.9 in).
<h3>Checked luggage</h3>
Before your flight, make sure that checked lugagge is included in your ticket, as this is not always the case - it depends on your fare. These are weight limits for various fares: 20/25/30/40 kg (44/55/66/88 lb). Each suitcase can weigh a maximum of 32 kg (70.5 lb). At the same time, the sum of the length, height and width of the suitcase must not exceed 158 cm (62.2 in).
Be aware that buying extra checked luggage in advance will save you a lot of money - prices for extra luggage at the airport are much higher.

Passenger services depend on the fare of your ticket. No extra service is provided in the lowest Economy Class. In Business Class, an in-flight refreshment credit of HKD 110 (EUR 13 / USD 14 / GBP 11.5) is included in the ticket price.
