The airline was founded in 1991 as a charter airline, originally under the name Interisland Airways. In 2003, it was renamed Air Turks &amp; Caicos. It was not until 2013 that it acquired its current name, InterCaribbean Airways.
The interCaribbean Airways fleet consists of the following aircraft types: the DHC-6 Twin Otter Aircraft, the Embraer ERJ 145 Jet and the Embraer EMB120.

The price of the ticket always includes 1 piece of hand luggage, which must not exceed any of the specified limits - the maximum dimensions are 41 x 23 x 31 cm (16.1 x 9 x 12.2 in). The maximum weight of this baggage can be 4.5 kg (9.9 lb).

Carriage of 1 checked bag weighing up to 22.5 kg (49.6 lb) is free of charge on most flights. You will find out whether checked baggage is included when booking your tickets.
