Loganair is a small international airline based in Scotland. The company was founded in 1962 and operates domestic air services within Scotland and the surrounding islands. It is also possible to travel internationally with the airline to several destinations in Northern Ireland, England, Germany, Belgium and Scandinavia.
The airline operates a very rich fleet in terms of aircraft type. Their fleet includes Saab 340, Twin Otter, Britten Norman Islander, ATR 42-500, ATR 72-600, Embraer 135 and Embraer 145 aircraft.

<h3>Online check-in</h3>
Online check-in is only possible on specific flights. For flights operated by Blue Islands (the flight numbers are higher than LM2000) online check-in is available from 48 hours prior to departure <a rel="noopener" href="Blueislands.com" target="_blank">under this link</a>.
<h3>Airport check-in</h3>
For airport check-in, please follow the instructions for your specific flight. For flights from Scotland and the Scottish islands, check-in is available no earlier than 1 hour and no later than 30 minutes before scheduled departure.
For departures from London, passengers can check in 2 hours to 45 minutes before departure.
For all other domestic flights and Donegal, passengers can check in 2 hours before departure. The check-in counter then closes 30 minutes before the aircraft takes off.
On international flights, check-in starts 2.5 hours before scheduled departure and the latest you can check in is 1 hour before your flight.

<h3>Carry-on baggage</h3>
Each passenger may take on board one piece of hand luggage not heavier than 6 kg (13.2 lb) and its dimensions not exceeding 40 x 35 x 18 cm (15.7 x 13.8 x 7 in).
In the Fly Flex+ fare, you can also take a small personal bag and a narrow laptop bag with this luggage. In tariffs Fly and Fly Flex, you are only allowed to travel with hand luggage and a small personal bag. 
<h3>Checked baggage</h3>
Checked baggage allowances are based on the class of travel. On the Fly fare, you are allowed to travel with one piece of luggage up to a maximum weight of 15 kg (33 lb). If you are travelling on the Fly Flex fare, you are allowed to pack up to 23 kg (50.7 lb), and on the highest Fly Flex+ fare, passengers are allowed to travel with baggage weighing up to 30 kg (66 lb). At the same time, the weight of one piece of luggage must not exceed 23 kg. Food and drinks: On some longer flights, passengers are provided with a small snack as part of the ticket price. For all other flights, you can purchase refreshments.
