Malindo Air is a Malaysian low-cost airline that belongs to Lion Air. Its name is a combination of MAL as Malaysia and INDO as Indonesia. It was founded in 2012 and its headquarters are located in Petaling Jaya in the Selangor region of Malaysia. The company's home airport is KLIA (Kuala Lumpur) and also Sultan Abdul (Subang). Malindo Air flies to about 4 dozen destinations across Asia and also to Australia. It is a competitor to Air Asia.
Malindo Air's fleet is relatively young and it consists of Boeing 737-900ER, 737-800, and ATR72-600 aircraft.

Passengers can travel with one piece of carry-on luggage with maximum measurements of 22 x 14 x 9 inches (56 x 36 x 23 cm). Economy Class passengers are allowed to bring one carry-on bag up to 15.4 pounds (7 kg). If you are traveling in Business Class, you can have two carry-on bags and the weight limit is set at 22 pounds per piece (10 kg). Each passenger may also travel with 1 smaller carry-on bag such as a handbag or laptop bag that must fit under the seat.
