Royal Jordanian is the national airline of Jordan founded in 1963 (as Alia Airlines). The airline is headquartered at Amman Airport. In 1975, the airline employed the first female Arab pilot. In 2005, the airline joined the Oneworld alliance.
Today, the airline flies to more than 50 destinations on four continents, using six aircraft types.
In their fleet you will find, for example, Boeing 787, Airbus A319, 320 or 321 or Embraer 175 and 195.

<h3>Online check-in</h3>
You can check in from the comfort of your own home via online check-in. This option is available 24 hours - 4 hours before your scheduled departure at <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://rj.com/en/info-and-tips/check-in-options/online-check-in" target="_blank">this link</a>. After filling in the required information, a boarding pass will be generated for you. Then you have to print it out and present it at the airport.
<h3>Airport check-in</h3>
If you prefer to check in at the airport, make sure to arrive at least 3 hours in advance. The check-in counter closes 45 minutes before departure. If you are travelling to America, the last passenger must be checked in 60 minutes before departure. You can also use the self-service check-in kiosks at the airport.

The size and number of bags you are allowed to take vary depending on the class of travel.
<h3>Hand luggage</h3>
You can take two carry-on bags, if you fly the Crown Class. For Economy Class, there is only one carry-on bag. In both cases, the individual baggage must not exceed 15.4 pounds (7 kg) and the maximum dimensions of this baggage must be 9 x 16.1 x 20 inches (23 x 41 x 51 cm). In total, the dimensions of your carry-on luggage must not exceed 45.2 inches (115 cm). 
<h3>Checked baggage</h3>
If you travel in Economy Class, you are allowed to pack one piece of luggage up to 50.7 pounds (23 kg), and in Crown Class you can bring up to two pieces of luggage, with one up to 50.7 pounds (23 kg) and the other up to 66.1 pounds (30 kg).
In both classes, the dimensions of the individual luggage must not exceed 62.2 inches (158 cm) in total.

Royal Jordanian offers two classes of travel, Economy Class and Crown Class.
Economy Class - Has one carry-on and one checked bag included in the price. Passengers are served a complimentary hot meal or snack during the flight (depending on the length of the flight).
Crown Class - Passengers in this class have access to the airport's Crown Lounge. Seats can easily recline to a bed on selected flights. Crown class passengers have two checked and two carry-on bags included in the price.
