SunExpress is a Turkish low-cost airline founded in 1989. It is jointly owned by Turkish Airlines and the Lufthansa Group. It has 2 bases, one in Antalya and the other (for domestic flights) in Izmir. In 2011, the German subsidiary SunExpress Deutschland was established, but it ceased its operations in 2020.
The SunExpress airline's fleet includes 58 Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Airport check-in is available free of charge to all passengers. For international flights, please arrive at the check-in counter approximately 2.5 hours before departure. For international flights, counters close 45 minutes before departure and for domestic flights 30 minutes before departure.
