You can check in online for free using the <a rel="noopener" href="https://checkin.si.amadeus.net/static/PRD/DT/#/identification" target="_blank">form on the carrier's website</a>. For international flights, you can check in no earlier than 36 hours and no later than 90 minutes before departure. For domestic flights, the service is available from 24 hours to 60 minutes before departure. Please remember that you need to print your boarding passes. If you will be making changes after check-in, for example in your seat selection, you will need to print new boarding passes.
Online check-in is only available for flights operated directly by TAAG Angola Airlines, as well as departures from Luanda and selected destinations (Cabinda, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Lubango, Ondgiva, Beijing, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo).
<h3>Airport check-in</h3>
To check in at the airport, please arrive at the check-in counter no earlier than 4 hours and no later than 90 minutes before your scheduled departure. At Lisbon, Porto, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Cape Town airports you can also check in using self-service kiosks.

<h3>Hand luggage</h3>
Each passenger can take one piece of hand luggage on board the aircraft for the price of the ticket. For international flights, the weight of this baggage must not exceed 8 kg (17.6 lb). There are exceptions for flights to Beijing and flights from Brazil, where 10 kg (22 lb) is allowed. The sum of the height, length and width of the baggage must not exceed 115 cm (45.3 in). These rules apply to passengers in all classes.
On domestic flights, Economy Class passengers can take on board one piece of hand luggage up to a maximum weight of 5 kg (11 lb). If you travel in Business or First Class, this limit is increased to 8 kg. The sum of the height, length and width of the baggage must not exceed 115 cm.
Also included in the price of the ticket, there is one small personal item, such as a laptop, handbag, kidney bag or medical accessories.
<h3>Checked luggage</h3>
The conditions for carrying checked baggage vary depending on the flight destination and the fare you are travelling on.
