Thai Airways International

Thai Airways International, the national airline of Thailand, was founded in 1960 and its home airport is Suvarnabhumi in Bangkok. However, it has another airport that can be considered Thai's home airport, namely Phuket International Airport. Thai is one of the 5 founding members of the well-known Star Alliance.

Since 2017 there has been a route connecting Central Europe with Southeast Asia, the Vienna-Bangkok flight.

The Thai Airways fleet is quite diverse. The airline has several types of Airbus (including the A380) and Boeing aircraft (such as the B777 or B747). It tends to fly the larger machines on long-haul flights, while its subsidiary Thai Smile operates domestic flights with smaller A320-200s.
