Thai Lion Air is the Thai subsidiary of one of the world's largest low-cost airlines, Indonesia's Lion Air. The Lion Air Group also includes Lion Air, Wings Air, Batik Air, Lion Bizjet, and Malindo Air. The airline was established in 2013 and is based at Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok.
The company operates its flights on new Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900ER aircraft.

<h3>Airport check-in</h3>
For domestic flights, please go to the check-in desk 2 hours before your scheduled departure time. The counter closes 45 minutes before departure. For international flights, desks open 3 hours before scheduled departure time and close 1 hour before departure. Arrive at the gate at least 30 minutes before departure. Boarding closes 20 minutes before departure.
