If you have a seat booked, you can check in as early as 14 days prior to departure. If you don't care where you sit and haven't selected this service, you can check in 7 days before departure.
<h3>Airport check-in</h3>
For airport check-in, please check the current conditions in advance. Passengers can usually check in 2 hours before scheduled departure of the aircraft. Please note that airports may charge an additional handling fee for airport check-in.

TUI Airways also focus on selling travel packages, so individual baggage allowances may vary. If you purchase only airline tickets from TUI Airlines, the following conditions apply.
<h3>Carry-on baggage</h3>
Each passenger may take one piece of hand luggage on board the aircraft that will not weigh more than 10 kg (22 lb) as part of the ticket price. The maximum dimensions of the baggage are 55 x 40 x 20 cm (21.7 x 15.7 x 7.9 in) and must fit in the storage compartment above the seats. If you're used to a small personal bag being included with other airlines, you won't get away with it with TUI. All things like your laptop or camera have to fit in your hand luggage. 
<h3>Checked luggage</h3>
Passengers do not have any checked baggage included in the price of the basic ticket. If you are travelling heavy, we recommend you purchase your luggage online. It will be much cheaper than later at the airport. If you are travelling on a PREMIUM CLUB fare, you are entitled to one checked bag for the price of your ticket, up to a maximum weight of 25 kg (55 lb).

On short flights, you'll need to buy all snacks and drinks. However, for flights over 7 hours, meals and drinks are available for passengers as part of the ticket price. You can select and book your preferred meal during the ticket purchase process. If you are travelling with a child under 2 years of age, please note that the airline does not provide any special food for children this age. However, you can bring your own food on board and the staff will heat it up for you.
For entertainment on long flights, you can also take advantage of the electronic in-flight entertainment system with its rich multimedia content. There's music, movies and games.
During the flight, travellers can shop from the on-board duty free sale of products.
