Bus
The cheapest transport to the city is public transport. The easiest option is bus line number 600, which runs via both terminals to Otogar main bus station, where you can change to other services. If you want to head into the city centre, get off at the Yener Ulusoy stop, which is about 1.5 km away from the centre. You can continue on foot or take a taxi. The buses leave approximately every 30 minutes, the journey time is about 50 minutes and you can buy a ticket from the driver (cash payment).
If you are staying near Lara Plajı beach, you can use line 800, which terminates in the Lara district.
Tram
Alternatively, there is the AntRay tram line, but it only runs to Terminal 1. Trams run at 10-20 minute intervals.
To purchase tickets you have two options. For a one-time ticket you pay EUR 0,3 (card included). If you want to travel more frequently or in a group, it is more convenient to buy Antalyakart for EUR 0,5 and top it up with credit. The price per ticket is then lower. The Antalyakart card can be bought and recharged at the airport and in the city. The card can be used on all buses and trams in Antalya.
Airport shuttle
The best value for money is offered by Holidaytaxis. You will be picked up the airport by a bus or minibus that will take you directly to your hotel (and at the end of your holiday, take you from your hotel to the airport). It costs a bit more than travelling by public transport, but the comfort makes a huge difference. The transport is paired with your flight number, so if you arrive late, the bus will be waiting for you. The price depends on the distance, but it should be around EUR 9 to the centre of Antalya.
Car rental
The most flexible way to get to the centre of Antalya is by rental car. The centre of Antalya is about 13 km away from the airport and it will take you around 15 minutes by car, depending on the traffic situation. Taxi
The most convenient transportation is a taxi, which you can call on the spot or book through Gettransfer. This has the advantage of a lower price than regular taxi, better access and can also provide a child seat. The price of a taxi should be around EUR 4.
