| Line A1 |
This line will take you to the Mo Chit metro stop or overground (referred to as MRT) Chatuchak Park in 20 minutes. The bus then continues on to Mo Chit 2 North bus terminal, also known as Chatuchak Bus Station (about 30 minutes away). From here, buses leave for all of northern and northeastern Thailand. Tickets from this station can be bought here. |
| The A2 line | This line also takes you to Mo Chit and Chatuchak Park. The service then continues to the Victory Memorial via BTS stops Saphan Khwai, Ari and Sanam Pao. |
| Line A3 | The A3 line will take you to Lumphini Park via Din Daeng and Pratun Nam stops. |
| Line A4 | This line goes to Sanam Luang via the Democracy Monument and Khao San Road. If you want to check out Bangkok's nightlife, head here. The best hotels in Khao San Road can be found here. |
The fastest option is the LimoBus Express, which leaves the airport every half hour between 9:30 and 0:30. If you're travelling to the old part of Bangkok, choose a bus in the direction of Khao San Road. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes and you'll pay EUR 3,8. For timetables, visit this link.
Train
At Terminal 1 and 3, you will find the train station, from where you can take the train conveniently to Bangkok's main station, Hua Lamphong. Prices are around EUR 0.5, the intervals are roughly 30 minutes and the journey time is 40 minutes. You can buy tickets here.
Car rental
The most flexible transportation can be provided by car rental. Compare offers here. In general, the earlier you book your car, the more you save. In Thailand, Grab is a very popular service that usually works out cheaper than a taxi. However, airport transfers can be a problem.
Night transport
The last service leaves the airport at 00:30. If you can't make either of the available services, you can use Gettransfer or regular taxi.
