Transport from Birmingham Airport to Birmingham city centre
Birmingham Airport is located approximately 18 km from the city centre. You have several options for transport to the city centre or to your hotel.

Train
Birmingham International train station is located right next to the airport and can be reached by the automated airport train called Air-Rail Link in about 2 minutes. There is then a train to Birmingham New Street mainline station at 5-10 minute intervals. The whole journey takes around 15 minutes. The first trains leave around 5:15 am and the last train leaves at 2 am.
Tickets (Anytime Day Single) cost £3.90 for an adult and £1.95 for children aged 5 to 15. They can be bought from the machines at the station, or online at the Trainline website.

Bus
You can also get to downtown Birmingham and other cities by bus. You can use the X1, X12 or 75/75A buses, the National Express or the Mega bus. Tickets start at £2.4.
