Transport from Brussels Airport to Brussels city centre
Brussels Zaventem Airport is located approximately 15 km from the centre of Brussels. You have several options for transport to the city centre or to your hotel.

Train
The fastest way to get around is by train. There are trains directly from Brussels Zaventem Airport to Brussel-Noord, Brussel-Centraal and Brussel-Zuid stations. Services run roughly every 10 minutes and the journey takes approximately 20 minutes.
The price of a "standaardbiljet" ticket for one journey is EUR 9.10 (ticket + diabolo fee EUR 5.50). Children under 11 years of age accompanied by a paying person over 12 years of age travel free of charge. Tickets can be purchased at a ticket machine (also available by card) or online.

Bus
The cheapest way to get to the centre is by public bus. Bus line 12 runs between Brussels Airport and Troon Station in the european quarter of Brussels. The journey time is about 30 minutes and the intervals between services are 10 to 20 minutes. If you need to get to the city centre, you can get off the bus at Brussels-Schuman station and change to metro M1 or M5. The last bus from Brussels Airport leaves at 0:30, and the first bus from the city leaves around 5.
Fees vary depending on whether you go from the airport to the centre or from the centre to the airport.

- A ticket to the airport costs EUR 2.1 for a single trip without change, EUR 2.4 for a 60-minute ticket, or EUR 7.5 for a day ticket

The cheapest transport is the De Lijn bus line 272 (schedule), running between the airport and Nord station at hourly intervals.

- Tickets purchased from De Lijn are valid only with this company. They are therefore not valid on line 12 and vice versa, tickets for line 12 are not valid on line 272.

Taxi
The most convenient option is to use the services of Gettransfer. A big advantage is that the ride can be booked online and you know the price in advance. Prices on this route start from as little as €26. Drivers are usually nicer than in a regular taxi and will provide a child seat on request, for example. If you forget something in the car, the driver can be traced back and contacted.
Night transport
At night, you can use line 620 to get to the airport. A ticket to/from the airport costs €2.5 on the bus and €2 when purchased in the app (Google Play / App Store). Alternatively, you can order a taxi via Gettransfer.
