Transport from Cagliari Airport to Cagliari city centre
The airport is located less than 9 km from Cagliari. You have several options for transport to the city centre or to your hotel.

Train
The cheapest option is train service by the Trenitalia company. Trains depart from the airport's very own station Elmas Aeroporto. The station is located within walking distance from the terminal (about 5 minutes walk). Trains run approximately every 20 minutes and take you to Cagliari main train station. The journey to the centre takes about 6-8 minutes. The ticket price is €1.30. You can buy your ticket from a ticket machine in the arrivals hall or online via this link.
The last train from the airport leaves at 11:12 pm, the first at 5:56 am. The last train from Cagliari to the airport leaves at 10:00 pm and the first at 5:26 am. If you have an arrival or departure out of these hours, you may want to consider hotels near the airport or use the Gettransfer taxi service.

Taxi
The most convenient option is to use Gettransfer. You know the fare in advance and a ride can be booked online. Drivers tend to be nicer than in traditional taxis and, for example, a child seat can be provided on request. The price per ride starts at EUR 37.
