Transport from Cologne Bonn Airport to Cologne city centre
The Cologne-Bonn Airport is located approximately 14 km from the centre of Cologne. You have several options for transport to the city centre or to your hotel.

Train
Cologne Bonn Airport has its own train station located between the terminals. The fastest connection is provided by the S-Bahn 13, which runs non-stop at 10-30 minute intervals. The journey from Köln/Bonn Flughafen to Cologne Central Station takes no more than 15 minutes.
You can also use regional trains
- The RE6 line connects Cologne Bonn Airport with many well-known cities in North Rhine-Westphalia
- The RB27 line connects Cologne Bonn Airport with Mönchengladbach Hbf, Bonn-Beuel, Bonn-Oberkassel and Koblenz Hbf, among others
A ticket for adults with a validity of 90 minutes costs €3, children from 6 to 14 years old pay €1.6. It is also possible to buy a day ticket for €8.8 or a group ticket for up to 5 people for €13.4.

Bus
You can also use the Airport Express SB60, which connect the airport with Bonn Hauptbahnhof (ZOB). The stop is on front of T1. The journey time is approximately 30 minutes and the ticket price is €8.2, so we do not recommend this option as it's not very cheap.

The most convenient option is to use the services of Gettransfer. You know the fare in advance and tickets can be booked online. Drivers tend to be nicer than in traditional taxis and, for example, a child seat can be provided on request.
