Transport from Dublin Airport to Dublin city centre
The airport is located less than 16 km from Dublin city centre. You have several options for transport to the city centre or to your hotel.

Bus to Dublin
The cheapest way to get to the city centre is to use public transport. Stops are located in airport zone 15 (map here). You can get to the centre by bus line 16 (Airport stop 7347) or bus line 41 (zastávka letiště 7348). These buses are a cheap alternative to express bus routes. Intervals are approx. 15 minutes and a ticket costs €3.3. The terminus of bus 16 is Ballinteer (Kingston) and it takes approximately 45 minutes to get to the city centre stop (O'Connell Street). Bus line 41 runs to Abbey Street Lower in the city centre, journey time is 45 minutes.

Airlink
Faster services are the 747 Airlink express buses or the 757 bus. A ticket costs EUR 7 (return EUR 12) and the journey to the city centre takes only 20 minutes. Although tickets are bought for a specific time, you can take the next available connection if the plane is delayed. Tickets can be purchased online at Terravision, where you can also find timetables.

Taxi to Dublin
The most convenient way is to use Gettransfer. Prices start at €21, but you can try to offer your own price. The ride can be booked in advance. In case you forget something in the car, the driver can be traced back. Drivers tend to be more helpful and friendly than in traditional taxis. For example, a child seat can be arranged on request. You can also take Uber, Bolt or classic taxis to the centre.
Night transport
Most city and express buses offer services between 5 am and 11:30 pm. If you are arriving outside these times, you can use Gettransfer, Uber, Bolt or conventional taxis to get to the city centre or vice versa.
