Dubrovnik Airport

Dubrovnik Airport is less than 20 km away from the city of Dubrovnik. You have several options for transport to the city centre or to your hotel.

Buses

The cheapest option is public transport lines. You'll find a stop outside the domestic arrivals terminal exit. The downside is that the services only run a few times a day and, unlike the Platanus shuttle, the services may not connect to your arrival/departure. Bus lines 11, 27 and 38 run between the airport and Dubrovnik, and bus line 31 will take you from the airport to Cavtat. Tickets can be purchased on the bus for EUR 4. Alternatively you can use the Platanus buses, which provide a shuttle service between the airport and the city centre. The timetable can be found on this website, where it is also possible to book a seat. Buses run according to the flight schedule and depart 30 minutes after the arrival of the plane. They leave from the city centre to the airport 2 hours before departure. A one-way ticket will cost you EUR 7.70, a return ticket EUR 11. The journey takes 30-40 minutes. Buses run to/from the main bus station in the Gruž district in the north of Dubrovnik. The bus station is located next to the harbour, where many cruise ships dock during the summer months.

Airport shuttle to hotel (recommended)

If you don't want to rent a car, consider an airport shuttle. Prices start at EUR 6 and a bus will take you from the airport directly to your hotel (and back at the end of your stay). The price is a bit higher than taking public transportation, but it's much more convenient.
