Transportation from Hurghada Airport to Hurghada city centre
Hurghada Airport is located approximately 12 km from the centre of Hurghada. You have several options for transport to the city centre or to your hotel. If you don't have a shuttle service from your travel agent or hotel, we definitely recommend Hoppa.

Airport shuttle to hotel (recommended)
Public transport to the centre of Hurghada is unfortunately not available. However, most hotels offer an airport transfer service. The best option is a shuttle service with Hoppa. Tickets can be booked online and prices start at €3.1. This is the same transport that will take you to your hotel when you purchase your tour.
Car hire
The most flexible option for getting to the centre of Hurghada is by a rental car (but bear in mind that traffic in Egypt is very chaotic). The airport is 12 kilometres away from the city centre and you can cover this distance in 20 minutes by car.

Taxi
The most convenient option is to use the services of Gettransfer. You know the fare in advance and tickets can be booked online. Drivers tend to be nicer than in traditional taxis and, for example, a child seat can be provided on request. The price per ride starts at EUR 7.
Shared taxi
More adventurous natures can take advantage of shared taxis, which run whenever they fill up and the price per person is around EUR 2.
