Bus
The cheapest option are the city's F line buses, which stop just outside the terminal. On weekdays and Saturdays, buses run every 15 minutes. In the evening, on Sundays and on holidays, buses run every 30 minutes.
The line runs through the city centre (Anichstraße/Rathausgalerien) and the train station (Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof) to the final stop Neu-Rum Kaplanstraße. The journey to the city centre takes about 15 minutes.
The price for a ticket is EUR 2.6, with those under 20 and over 65 paying EUR 1.6. A day ticket costs EUR 5.9. For information on timetables, see the PDF here. Tickets can be purchased from a ticket machine or at a slightly higher price from the driver.

Car hire
The most flexible option to get around, not only in the centre of Innsbruck, is by a rental car. For a comparison of all offers, visit this link.
Taxi
The best option is to use the services of Gettransfer. You know the fare in advance and tickets can be booked online. Drivers tend to be nicer than in traditional taxis and, for example, a child seat can be provided on request. The price per ride starts at EUR 10.
Night transport
Buses run until approximately 11pm. If you can't catch one of the available services, you can use Gettransfer or a taxi to get to the centre.
