Transportation from Mexico City Benito Juarez Airport to downtown Mexico City
Mexico City Airport is located approximately 8 km from the city centre. You have several options for transport to the city centre or to your hotel.

Metro
The cheapest option is to take the metro - yellow line 5. The metro runs from 5am to midnight, Monday to Friday. From 6am on Saturdays and 7am on Sundays. The intervals are approximately 5 minutes and the ticket costs MXN 5 (EUR 0.2).

From Terminal 1
From T1 it is easier to get to the metro because the station is nearby (just follow the signs to Terminal Aérea metro station. If you want to go to the centre of Mexico City, take the yellow line 5 towards Pantitlán and after 5 minutes change at Pantitlán metro station to the pink line 1 towards Observatorio. If you want to get off in the historic centre, choose the stop Isabel la Católica.
From Terminal 2
The nearest metro stop is called Pantitlán and it is about a 15-minute walk along a busy road. Alternatively, you can take a bus from T2 to Hangares metro station for MXN 6 (EUR 0.3). At both stations you can board the yellow line 5 and continue as above.
Metrobus
From both Ternimal 1 and Terminal 2, metrobus line 4 runs every 15 minutes. The first service leaves at 4:30am, the last at 11:45pm. Line 4 takes you to Palacio de Bellas Artes station in the historic city centre and San Lazaro bus station.
To travel, you must purchase a rechargeable Mexico City Metro Card at a vending machine for MXN 15 (EUR 0.7). This card can also be used on buses, subway, trains, as well as bicycle rentals. The ticket itself costs MXN 30 (EUR 1.4). For more information visit here.
Car rental

Taxi
The most convenient option is to use Gettransfer. You know the fare in advance and tickets can be booked online. Drivers tend to be nicer than in traditional taxis and, for example, a child seat can be provided on request. The price per ride starts at EUR 16.
Night transport
Buses run until approximately midnight in high season. During low season, buses run only until 10:15pm in the direction from the airport to the city, and the last bus leaves at 7:45pm in the direction to the airport. If you can't catch either of the available services, you can use Gettransfer or taxi.
