Bus
The cheapest option is to take the bus and metro. The 911 buses from the airport run roughly every 7 minutes and will take you to the centre to the Salaryevo metro stop. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Bus 611 runs every 20 minutes to Troparyovo or Yugo-Zapadnya. The journey on this line takes about 30-40 minutes. At one of these three stops you will transfer to metro line 1, which will take you directly to the centre of Moscow to Okhotny Ryad stop. The metro journey takes another 20-30 minutes. The price of a ticket is EUR 0.6, so in total the journey will cost you EUR 1. Tickets for the bus can be purchased from the bus driver and for the metro from a ticket machine.
Train
The best value for money is the Aeroexpress. Trains leave directly from the terminal every hour and take you to the Kievsky stop, where you can transfer to metro line 1 and travel to the centre of Moscow. The journey to the centre takes about 45-50 minutes. The price for a ticket including metro is EUR 5.7. You can buy tickets online via this link.
Taxi
The most convenient option is to use Gettransfer. You know the fare in advance and tickets can be booked online. Drivers tend to be nicer than in traditional taxis and, for example, a child seat can be provided on request. The price per ride starts at EUR 18.
Night transport
The Aeroexpress runs until approximately midnight. If you can't catch either of the available train or bus services, you can use Gettransfer or taxi for transport to the centre.
