Transportation from Petersburg Pulkovo Airport to the city centre of St. Petersburg
If you need to get to the airport from the city centre or vice versa, there are several options to choose from:
Car rental
The fastest way to get to St. Petersburg city centre is by rental car. For a clear comparison of all offers, visit this link.
Bus
The cheapest option is to take bus 39 or 39ex (Express) to the Moskovskaya metro stop and from there continue on metro line 2 (blue) to the Nevskiy Prospekt stop. Buses run approximately every 10-30 minutes. The bus journey to the metro stop takes about 20-30 minutes. Ticket price is EUR 0.6. For information on timetables, see here. The metro journey takes another 15 minutes. The price for a metro ticket is an additional EUR 0.6. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket machine.
Taxi
The most convenient option is to use Gettransfer. You know the fare in advance and tickets can be booked online. Drivers tend to be nicer than in traditional taxis and, for example, a child seat can be provided on request. The price per ride starts at EUR 13.
Night transport
Buses run until approximately 1 am. If you can't make either of the available services, you can use Gettransfer or taxi for transport to the centre.
