Transportation from Tirana Airport to Tirana city centre

Bus
The cheapest option are the Luna buses. The bus will take you to the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet stop. The price for a one-way ticket is EUR 2.40. The buses run every hour, from the city centre to the airport from 7 am to 11 pm and from the airport to the city centre from 8 am to 12 pm. The journey takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. The schedule can be found here. The airport stop is south of the terminals - when you go out and turn left. The stop in Tirana is located behind the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet near Skanderbeg Square (Sheshi Skënderbej).

Taxi
The most convenient way is to use Gettransfer. You know the price of the ride in advance and you can have a child seat provided, for example. If you forget something in the car, it's no problem to track down and contact the driver. Prices start at EUR 17.
Night transport
Buses run until about midnight. If you can't make either of the available services, you can use Gettransfer or a taxi to get to the centre.
Transport to Durrës
Directly from the airport, Adis Travel & Tours buses run to the town and popular resort of Durrës. The journey time is approximately 45 minutes and the price per journey is EUR 4.70. The buses go to the main bus station in Durrës, which is located next to the train station. The beach and most of the hotels in Durrës can be reached from here by taxi or by the Durrës - Plepa bus line, which costs EUR 0.40 and runs several times an hour.
