Transportation from Vancouver Airport
The airport is located approximately 14 km from centre of Cancouver. You have several options for transportation to the city centre or to your hotel.

Metro
Directly at Vancouver Airport, there is a subway station called YVR Airport Station located across from the main terminal (just follow the Canada Line signs). The SkyTrain runs from 5am to 1am at intervals of 12 to 20 minutes.
- If you want to get to downtown, choose the Vancouver City Centre stop. The ride time is approximately 25 minutes.
- If you need to transfer to the subway (Expo Line) or the ferry to North Vancouver, get off at the Waterfront subway station. Travel time is approximately 28 minutes.
- If you want to go to Richmond, transfer at Bridgeport station to the Richmond-Brighouse station.
The price for a regular ticket is CAD 4.25 (CAD 3.45 if you have a Compass Card). However, there is a CAD 5 (AddFare) fee for the ride to the airport added to this ticket. In total, the ticket will cost you CAD 9.25 or CAD 8.45 per person. You can also buy a day pass for CAD 15.50 (or CAD 10.50 outside the airport). For more information, visit here.
Night bus
At night between 1:30am and 4:30am you can travel on the N10 night bus. The bus journey time is 30 minutes and the fare is the same as the metro.
Compass card
You can buy a Compass card at the airport for a deposit of CAD 6 at the 7-Eleven store in the domestic terminal. You can top up any credit on it and ride at a discount. When you don't need the card, you can return it and the CAD 6 will be refunded. For more information, visit here.

Taxi
The most convenient option is to use Gettransfer. You know the fare in advance and tickets can be booked online. Drivers tend to be nicer than in traditional taxis and, for example, a child seat can be provided on request. The price per ride starts at EUR 9.
Night transport
Buses run until approximately midnight in high season. In low season, buses only run until 10:15pm in the direction from the airport and the last bus leaves at 7:45pm in the direction to the airport. If you can't catch either of the available services, you can use Gettransfer or a taxi to get to the city centre.
