Tours

Buses
There is a bus service from Varadero Airport to the Viazul bus station in Varadero. This bus departs 1-2 times a day. The journey time is approximately 20 minutes and the ticket costs USD 6. The bus to Havana costs USD 9 and the journey time is 2 hours and 30 minutes. You can also take Viazul buses to other resorts, and you can find schedules and buy tickets online here.
If you can't catch any Viazul buses, you can try asking the bus drivers delivering travel agency clients. If they have an empty seat on the bus, they will often give you a ride for a fee of USD 5-10.
Taxi
The price of a taxi to downtown Varadero should not exceed USD 35.
