Bus to Zagreb
The cheapest option are the city buses (line 290) from the transport company ZET, which stop on the main road behind the car park. The buses run approximately every 30 minutes and take you to the centre to the bus stop Kvaternikov trg at the corner of Martićeva street and Heinzelova street.
For the journey you will need two tickets of EUR 0.6 each, which you can buy at the TISAK kiosks in the arrival and departure halls. Mark the first ticket immediately after boarding the bus, the second at the Petrushevec stop (you leave the zone and the first ticket becomes invalid).
From the Kvaternikov trg stop you can continue to the centre by trams 11, 12 (you will need an additional ticket for 0.6), or on foot with a comfortable 20 minute walk.
More information can be found directly on the carrier's website.
Express Bus Service
Another option are the shuttle buses Pleso Prijevoz, which will take you to the Zagreb Central Bus Terminal stop. Buses run from 4:30 am to 10:30 pm, but are dependent on arrivals and departures - if your flight is delayed, a bus service will be provided. The price for a one-way ticket is EUR 4. Tickets can be purchased online via this link. From Zagreb bus station you can reach a number of destinations such as Karlovac, Rijeka, Slavonski Brod and Osijek.
The bus station is a 20-minute walk from the city centre, but for faster transport you can use tram number 6 (for EUR 0.6).
