Transportation from Zakynthos Airport to Zakynthos town centre
Zakynthos Airport is located less than 5 km from the centre of Zakynthos. You have several options for transport to the centre of the town or to your hotel.

Car rental (recommended)

Airport shuttle to hotel (recommended)
If you don't want to rent a car, consider an airport shuttle. Prices start at EUR 8 and a bus will take you from the airport directly to your hotel (and back at the end of your stay). The price is a bit higher than taking public transportation, but it's much more convenient.

Taxi
If you prefer convenience, you can use Gettransfer. The ride can be booked online and you know the price in advance. Drivers tend to be much nicer and more helpful than in traditional taxis. If you forget something in the car, the driver can be traced and contacted. For example, a child seat can be arranged on request. Prices start at EUR 9.
Bus
The cheapest option is the bus service operated by KTEL Zakynthos. Be aware of the fact that the lines run only in high season and only on weekdays. Tickets cost €1.60 and can be purchased from the driver. The bus goes to the bus station in Zakynthos city, from where you can get to Tsilivi, Laganas, Kalamaki, Argassi and Alykes (only in high season). Tickets cost between €1.80 and €3.60.
