Aeromexico is the national airline of Mexico and one of the founding members of SkyTeam. The company was founded in 1934 under the name Aeronaves de Mexico.
The company's main base is located at Beníte Juárez International Airport (Ciudad de Mexico), with additional bases located at airports in Guadalajara, Tijuana and Monterey.
The company's fleet includes Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, 787-8 Dreamliner, 737 MAX, 737-800, and Embraer 190 aircraft.

<h3>Hand luggage</h3>
All passengers are allowed to bring on board one carry-on bag with maximum dimensions of 21.6 x 15.7 x 9.8 inches (55 x 40 x 25 cm) and one personal item (small backpack, handbag, bag for laptop/camera), which must fit under the seat. The total weight of the carry-on bags must not exceed 17.6 pounds (8 kg).
<h3>Checked baggage</h3>
Checked baggage is not included in the Basic and Classic fares. If your tariff includes a piece of checked baggage, your baggage must meet the following limits: weight up to 55 pounds (25 kg) on flights within Mexico, weight up to 50.7 pounds (23 kg) on international flights. The overall dimensions of checked baggage must not exceed 62.2 inches (158 cm).
