Air Austral

Air Austral is a French airline based at Roland Garros Airport in the Department of Réunion in the Indian Ocean. The company was founded in 1974 under the name Réunion Air Services (RAS). Two months later, after RAS was renamed to Air Austral, it bought its first Boeing 737-500. The carrier now employs around 900 people.

The airline operates its flights on Boeing 787, Boeing 777-300 ER, Boeing 737-800, and ATR 72-500 aircraft.
