When travelling with Air France, you can choose which check-in method suits you the best.
<h3>Online check-in</h3>
If you want to be prepared and also want to check-in from the comfort of your home, use the <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://wwws.airfrance.cz/check-in" target="_blank">airline's website</a>. To be even more mobile, download their app (<a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://apps.apple.com/us/app/air-france/id391968627" target="_blank">Apple</a>, <a rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.airfrance.android.dynamoprd&amp;hl=en&amp;gl=US" target="_blank">Android</a>) and check-in directly in the app, where you will also save your ticket, so that you don't have to print it. Online check-in starts 30 hours before departure (24 hours before departure for flights from the US).
<h3>Airport check-in</h3>
If you missed the online check-in or if this option is not convenient for you, you can check-in free of charge at the airport. Again, you have two options, either you can do it yourself at the self-service kiosk or you can check in typically at the counter with the help of a member of staff.

Air France is the French national airline headquartered in Paris at Charles de Gaulle International Airport. It was founded in 1933 and it has very long tradition. The majority owner of the airline was the state, but in 2004 the company was taken over by the Dutch airline KLM, bringing the percentage of French ownership below 50%. The company is a founding member of the SkyTeam alliance, which connects 19 members across the planet.
Air France currently flies to 60 countries and serves 34 destinations in Europe, 26 in America, 17 in Africa and 11 in Asia. In addition, it also connects 15 French cities.

With Air France, you can get to destinations all over the world. They have an extensive network in Europe (they also serve Prague's Václav Havel Airport), where their fares are above the competition.
If price is really important to you, Air France probably won't be the best choice for getting around Europe, unless you run into a promotion. What is more interesting is their long-haul flights to America and Africa. There you can usually get great prices compared to the competition and you'll also get pretty decent service.
<h3>Cheapest Flights</h3>
The cheapest tickets are available about 2-3 months before departure. From time to time there are some very interesting promotions, especially for more experienced travellers who can arrange connecting flights and have more experience in travel.
Their line from Paris to the Caribbean (Martinique, Guadeloupe) is famous, which quite often appears on sale for around EUR 194.26 (GBP 165.93 or USD 230.68). If you add a low-cost Prague-Paris airfare, you can get to a price of around EUR 272 (GBP 232 or USD 322. You wouldn't go wrong buying a Prague-Paris ticket with Air France, which is usually around EUR 136 (GBP 116 or USD 161).

Air France has set the following rules for luggage:
<h3>Carry-on baggage</h3>
The size limit for cabin baggage is 55 x 35 x 25 cm (21,7 x 15,7 x 9,8 in), if you are travelling in Economy you can have one bag, in all upper classes you can have two. In addition to this luggage, each passenger can have a small personal item (handbag, laptop, camera...). The weight limit is calculated together for all the luggage you have on board. In Economy class the limit is 12 kg (26,5 lb) and in all other classes it is 18 kg (40 lb).
<h3>Checked Baggage</h3>
The limit for checked baggage is 158 cm (62 in) in total length, width and height and the weight limit also varies by class, as written above. You can carry up to 23 kg (50,7) of baggage in Economy and 32 kg (70,5 lb) in other classes. There is also a new Economy Light fare (the cheapest version of the ticket), in which case checked baggage is charged.

<li>Flex - quite a packed offer, priority boarding included in addition to the above, you can rebook or return your ticket for free, you can choose from all seats available</li>
<li>Premium Economy - priority check-in, 2 checked bags and 2 boarding bags, airport lounge access</li>

<h3>Business</h3>
Business class offers more comfortable seats, more space, more generous refreshments, 2 checked bags weighing 32 kg (70,5 lb).
<h3>La Premier (First Class)</h3>
Care starts upon arrival at the airport, a bellman will take care of your luggage and he will escort you to a private check-in and then you will have access to a private luxury lounge. Upon arrival on board, you will be personally greeted by the staff and introduced to your on-board space, which includes a changing room, storage space for your belongings, private lighting, etc. Your seat will be transformed into a comfortable bed in seconds, a blanket and pillow will be provided and a television will be available, too. In short, a mini apartment in the sky.

Air France has a loyalty programme with KLM called "Flying Blue". It works on the same principle as the other airlines, i.e. you earn points by buying a ticket. The amount depends on your level in the loyalty flyer program. Explorer gets 4 points for every euro spent, silver member 6 points, gold 7 points and platinum 8 points.
You can use these points in many ways. You can upgrade your reservation, add a meal, pay for extra baggage or select a seat in advance. However, you can also use your points outside the plane, for example, to pay for a hotel or you can also rent a car from the airline's partners. Newly, points can also be used to buy another ticket.

<h3>Traveling with children under 2</h3>
If your child is under 2, you have two options for traveling with him/her. Either without his/her own seat (the child will be on your lap) or in a rented cot, which is suitable for children up to 10 kg (22 lb) and 70 cm (28 in) and needs to be booked in advance. If you want your baby to have their own seat, this is possible as well, but you must bring the car seat they will be sitting in on the plane. In this case, the ticket price will be the same as for children aged 2-11 (as you can see below). If the baby is traveling without a seat, their ticket will cost approximately 10% of the regular fare. Regarding luggage, you can carry 1 standard baggage up to 12 kg (26,5 lb) for your child. You can also have one checked baggage (except for the Light fare, where there is a fee) up to 10 kg (22 lb).
<h3>Traveling with children 2-11 years</h3>
In this case you must always purchase a seat for the child. The price of the ticket will be approximately 20% lower on European flights and 33% lower on long-haul flights. For children in this age group the same rules apply as for adults regarding luggage.

Food on board with Air France aircraft is for free on European and also overseas flights. You can expect seasonal international cuisine, hot and cold soft drinks, a selection of alcoholic beverages. If you want something special, you can pay extra for a special menu in your reservation, which ranges from EUR 12-30 (GBP 10-26 or USD 14-36).

Seat selection is for free on Air France and it is made during check-in. If you have higher requirements and don't want your favourite seat to be taken, you can also choose your seat earlier, but for a fee.
You can shorten your journey by watching movies or series, playing games or listening to music on the entertainment system that will be available for you.
You can also pay for data packages. The airline has three of them. If you need to work or simply be online, it will be easily possible for you.
